Hej all, need a practical hint regarding the choice of motors for the V3. My initial consideration was to use SunnySky V2216 1100kv but they unfortunately seem to be severely stuck somewhere on their way to Germany. Alternatively I could use the T-Motor MT2212 1100kv – main concern is that they formally have a max thermal power rating of 250w (vs. 350w of the SunnySkies) and that ecalc indicates that with 9” props in a 4S setup I’m about 10% above the 250W at max.
From the practical perspective: would you see me in trouble with this “borderline” setup or would the MT2212 be a reliable and fun (!) choice for V3?

As this is only theory I’d appreciate your thoughts 😉

I don’t foresee their power rating being an issue, I’ve heard Tiger Motor has a tendency to underrate in comparison to some of their competitors.
I’d definitely like to hear from anyone who has used these motors before.

It is quite a rowdy little setup and I plan on throwing them on the tri if I ever destroy my SS 2216 900kv motors I have on it now.
