    Hey!

I’ve been eyeing the Tricopters for a while and I’m starting to feel the itch for one, now that I’ve got a few quads.

Now I’m interested in building a Baby Tricopter frame with parts of my own selection and am wondering if it’s possible to get GPS functionality (RTH, position + alt hold, etc) with the current available firmwares that handles tricopters well.

It seems to me (tried to do some research) that it’s basically a choice between iNav and Betaflight (now that triflight is a part of it). Have anyone tried them both using gps+barometer+magnetometer?

Is it possible to get both a good tune and the GPS related features?

    Thanks for your time guys!

If you search on dRonin you will find reference to triflight firmware that has NAV capabilities. @LitterBug and @jihlein posted a lot on it. There is also a separate dRonin forum.

Would be a tight fit but yeah it’s possible.
