Spurred on by the success I had flying acro with my other sport tricopters I tried flipping and rolling with my RCEx MiniTricopter. Long story short, didn’t work out as planned….. I broke one of my front booms.

I ordered (3) new ones. Cause they’re like potato chips. You can’t have JUST one. They took a bit to get here but they arrived last weekend. So I desolder the leads and remove the old one. Pop on the new one and,….wait,….something is not right here. Why aren’t my ESC wire reaching as easily as before? Yeah, the new arms are approx 20mm longer.

Is there a reason for this? Should I replace the other (2)? Or just cut that new one shorter to match the old one.

That is so weird. I don’t recall there being any mention of a length change…
