F3FC Random beeping

Hi guys, Ive been flying my Tri v4 for the first time today. My F3FC board keeps on randomly beeping and i have no idea why. has anyone come into this before?

What do you mean by “randomly”? Do you use low voltage alarm in cleanflight?

I havent set up the low voltage alarm no. It randomly just beeps, when its flyig, when its on the ground. Armed and Un-armed aswell. I have no idea whats going on.

I noticed that on my mini today, too. Hadn’t ever had the issue until I did a clean install of the 0.5 release. I assumed it was voltage sag tripping the alarm as my batteries are a little tired, and it was getting more frequent as I got further into the pack, but I was just flying laps and not really pushing it. It was also a clean install and I hadn’t messed with the voltage monitoring settings. Maybe the defaults are overly conservative, I’ll have to look into the settings tomorrow. If you want an example, you should be able to hear it in the video I posted today in another thread:

If you scroll toward the end of the video you’ll hear it more. It sounds like the beeps that happen during a tail tune, and at first I thought I had accidentally triggered tail tune or inflight accelerometer adjustment, but I didn’t.

Mine is very similar to yours but also does just a random single beep every now and then. Ill have another fly this arvo and see how it goes!

Yeah mine sounded like mostly single beeps, too. I’m thinking there’s probably a setting in battery monitoring that I overlooked. Will check tomorrow.

Did you figure out what caused the beeps?
mine also beeps Randomly. Also only single beeps. Battery pack is new only 3 flights, f3fc board with “official” hardware setup for the full tricopter v4.
Pack was at 33% when I landed.

It worries me that the board just beeps. I also flew very conservative. only a few circles with little throttle in angle mode. Really conservative as I’m still getting used to flying.

Any blackbox logs from flights with random beeping? I haven’t noticed any beeping in my recordings. Then again the runcam2 mic is so bad so probably wouldn’t hear them anyways.

Sadly I don’t have a blackbox to record the data.

Or is it possible to record data without a dedicated blackbox?

For me it’s one beep every half minute or so.
