I want to modify the impossible tilt design to accept servo arms instead of servo gear spline and just gave blender a go, while the software is fantastic and I was able to perform the required modelling/Boolean operations to get the work done, I feel that it’s generally not suited for the sort of parametric CAD work I have in mind.
What do you use to design 3D printed parts, or what recommendation do you have?

Fusion 360, for me is by far the nicest option there is when you are looking at a CAD package that can do all we makers need.

For modifying a part from someone else I recommend never trying to modify an stl. Try to get the actual CAD file.

Thanks for the suggestions! I’ll give it a try asap.
