I understand that the NAZE32 board from the shop integrated into the mini-tri is lacking features?

I wanted to get a GPS to use with a micro minimOSD, is this still possible?

If so any advice on which module to go for?

The only thing is that we don’t have a compass on the naze32. You can probably use the one that tipicaly comes on a GPS unit and connect it to the i2c buss pads on the inside of the board. I have not tried this myself, but I do run the mini minimOSD with no problem.

I’ve connected barometer to naze32 before, it worked well. I see no reason why magnetometer would not, so yeah, get a GPS unit with a magnetometer and attach GPS to RX/TX and magnetometer to SCL/SDA. I would also suggest getting MS5611 baro and connect it to the same SCL/SDA pads to get altitude readings.
