Today I tried to install a buzzer/ beeper on my mini Tricopter.
I soldered it on, conneted it via Usb to cleanflight, configuerd the buzzer, deconnected it and tried.
It was not working. Than I desoldered the buzzer, but now the Naze32 wont even connect to the Pc.
If I try the connection fails and the green and red leds on the Pcb are flashing.
I use the Mini-Tricopter-kit whith Naze and Powerd.Bord and the Electronicskit.
I hope you guys can help me.8 January, 2016 at 23:27 #24331
And the bootloader is not responding … 🙁 oh i hate this fucking day9 January, 2016 at 05:12 #24341
Hold on! Don’t panic…. It didn’t lose the magic smoke it might be fine. check for solder bridge near the area you soldered and opposite side. Just go over it really good to make sure you didn’t add too much solder.9 January, 2016 at 05:23 #24342
I forgot. Make sure you didn’t de-solder anything other than what you installed.
If you look at the board closely you may be able to hook up a ftdi cable to it… You would have to ask Dave.9 January, 2016 at 08:59 #24345TerjeModerator
Have you tried re-flashing the integrated Naze32 board with the boot pads shorted? Be aware that the pads are covered in a thin layer of anti-corrosion stuff that you need to scratch off first.9 January, 2016 at 10:56 #24353
No i dont tried that where do i find the bootpins ? And how can i do it ?9 January, 2016 at 17:24 #24376
Now i tried it but it didnt helped me 🙁

Hey O, Maybe you could film your computer as your flashing. If you could get the computer screen and the naze in the shot could help find a solution. Also, your a little rough with the USB connector you should be very gentle. Also upload some close up photos of solder area.9 January, 2016 at 20:26 #24388
When i flash the Naze it says Flashig and finishes it. When its done th leds start to bling again and the connection is lost. I wrote a email to david and if he cant help i simply order a new one9 January, 2016 at 20:41 #24390
A last small question: What is the best summer/buzzer i can use on the naze32 ? and what is the max soldering tempreture i should use ?9 January, 2016 at 22:03 #24398GAntonjoModerator
@o-to-the-o: Which firmware and version are you flashing to your Naze? There were some versions that did not reconnect by itself after the Naze booted. Solution then was to disconnect and reconnect the USB cable. The problem is solved in later versions of TriFlight (at least).9 January, 2016 at 22:13 #24399
I use the newest version of Triflight from the mini Tricopter product page9 January, 2016 at 22:20 #24401
Maybe a static charge killed a chip or the bootloader.9 January, 2016 at 22:22 #24402GAntonjoModerator
I have also heard people having problems with certain USB cables and using another cable solve their connection problems.9 January, 2016 at 22:42 #24405
I tried three cabels all worked before with the naze32
