Hello, I recently finished my tricopter v4.0 and now need to set up the rx to it. Is there a way to use a ar610 rx on it. I already mounted it and selected 5v for the switching bec. I dont want to have to buy another rx and take the tri apart to select 3.5 v to use a satalite rx. If someone could let me know if you and how you can use a non cppm or serial rx. And also if i need to use a satalite rx if i have to change the switching bec from 5v to 3.5v(spektrum says input voltage is 3.5 – 9 but i know nothing of rx). Thanks!

Your Satellite will, though. Yes, it will require 3.3v (the AR610 itself will take 3.5-9v since it is meant to run off a 5v receiver battery or BEC, but it feeds 3.3v to the Satellite). You *could* switch the diode on the board so the BEC outputs 3.3v, but personally I find that to be a monstrous pain in the ass (unless someone has a neat trick, I couldn’t get it to work with my regular soldering station, I’m guessing with a hot air rework station it might be doable, but…). But! There is a 3.3v pin on the F3FC board, *so* I’m fairly certain all you need to do is plug your Satellite’s ground and signal pins into the UART of your choosing, and then run the positive wire to that 3.3v pin (if you go to the F3FC product page there are diagrams with labels for all the pins, the 3.3v pin is one of the pins where there’s only two rows instead of three). Hope that helps.
