Hey guys, In the baby tricopter build video David says to test the direction of the motors before putting the heat shrink on. Is there any way to do this without soldering everything and giving it some throttle to see what direction the motors spin? Thanks in advance for the help guys! P.S. Unfortunately I don’t have a servo tester on hand. ?

Servo testers are pretty cheap. They are a useful tool for checking ESCs/motors and testing/centering servos on the tail motor. Well worth the investment. Another option would be to use an ESC programming USB dongle which really isn’t needed anymore now that BLHeli passthrough works on many FCs and firmwares. Yet one more option would be to use a PWM receiver bound to your TX.

    Cheers!
