1) Have you installed Fusion360?
Yes, unless it was in the other reality, in which case the answer would be “42”.
To be honest, I really don’t mess with it much as my time is limited.2) Have you imported the .F3D file(s)?
Will have a look to see if I’ve done the Archive files as it’s been several months. Unfortunately I’ve an appointment soon and will be able to say definitively sometime tomorrow.
3) How old are you?
I’ve two kids and have retired… Almost comes off as insulting you asking this.
4) What country do you reside in?
Currently Germany, but have lived in the US, UK, Spain, and Italy.
5) What is your level of education?
What’s this a credit check?
Prior to my retirement from it, I worked for the Naval Laboratory as the Lab manager. We specialized in electronic repair / calibration for both analog and digital systems. (Jet Engine Test Cells are fun: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oj4w7i-TqsE) Last position I took before returning to Germany was working in Oil & Gas. Mostly instrumentation, wireless integration, sales and on-site support.
As a hobby I worked on several Game mods, most notably as co-author for Supreme Commander 4th-Dimension: http://www.moddb.com/mods/4th-dimension-fa
Previous I’ve worked with 3D-Max, programed with .Lua, Hex and some C++ but gave it all up upon moving to Germany. I currently sit on my arse all day trying to kill myself with extreme boredom. Which is part of why I mess with the Tri’s part time. Gotta have something to do while the kids are in school and the wife is at the Lab.Ok… Your turn, with the same questions

19 April, 2018 at 16:43 #57541MadPoetParticipantTerje, thanks – I just found it on thingiverse. Although, looking at the notes on the original version, you mentioned it is not needed on the emax RS2205 motors, so no real gain trying the impossible tilt?
19 April, 2018 at 17:01 #57542TerjeModeratorAt the time I anticipated that TriFlight would solve the remaining problems. A year later progress on solving the tail wag issues seem to have come to a standstill.
Ok I’ll play along. 46, Denmark, Masters degree in computational linguistics. Been working with all sorts people over the years and learned that knowing which baseline I’m dealing with when communicating is key to getting the message across.
The reason I ask: 12, USA, primary school but my mom says I’m a genius! Would have suggested short attention span and sense of entitlement:-)
I’m guessing familiarity to 3D studio has you expecting things working a certain way, which it may or may not.
Limited time and boredom do seem to be conflicting messages though?

Sounds like you dont have kids then…
In my day, theres allot of scheduled stuff and hurry up and wait. Kids, Gradeschool, Kindergarten, music school and FuBball. Couple that with the fact that there are moments I have time but not enough to do anything meaningful. So yeah, busy but not in a way that satisfies what I’m working on or would like to do. Hence why boredom and having limited time can go hand in hand. In a way its good as i have the time for my kids but in another it can be a real challenge too. After all i spent my entire life working with teams of professionals who had a common goal or focus. For me, Its hard to live a life and not have something to focus on. -
