    Hi Everyone.
I bought David’s Tricopter V3 kit but have not gotten around to assembling it yet, Now I am interested in converting it to the mini with the mini add on kit and cutting the arms down
The thing is, I bought Sunnysky V2216-11 900KV to use on the full size V3. Will these be any good for using on the mini with the recommended size props?
I have the same DYS 20A esc that David recommends and intend to use 4s, but can use 3s instead if better?
Not really looking for a racer just a nice little nippy cruiser, what do you guys think?

    Any advice is appreciated.
    Thanks
    Jay

Unfortunately, you would need to run 9 inch props on the mini. even if you got the prop clearance, it wouldn’t fly well. You might want to just build the full size tricopter since you already have the motors.

Second option is to get the proper motors and save these 2216 for the next build.
