So if I understand things correctly,@me_tan’s board still does not want to boot, but @Kevin_Erik’s did. Curious to see what @krkljan’s results will be when he has time to test. The build is flyable, but I’ll make a branch with these changes and make an installer from that test branch for you guys to test with, before I merge these changes into my main branch. Do I need to make both Windows and MACOS?
@Kevin_Erik, there is no BiCopter mixer in the vehicle tab, it still needs to be setup via a custom configuration. That probably won’t change, at least in the foreseeable future.
21 December, 2018 at 18:51 #60630jihleinParticipantHere’s the cleaned up version of the SPI fix. If this is proven successful, I will merge it into my mainline.

https://1drv.ms/u/s!Am7KDquQANJl5mlqPZI68LSRdeTtThis build was successfully tested for booting on the RCE Racing and Integrated F3Fc boards I have.
@me_tan – there’s an additional change in this from what you originally tried, might be worthwhile to try this version
21 December, 2018 at 20:30 #60631Kevin_ErikModeratorWill try to load this up during the weekend. Unfortunately its hard to know when I’ll be free to do so due to the holidays.
21 December, 2018 at 23:02 #60632ME-tanParticipantI will also test with my spare board over the weekend and try the above suggestions
23 December, 2018 at 23:56 #60644ME-tanParticipantOK reverted the spare board back to TriFlight 0.5 to test it and it won’t boot on that either, so my boot loop is probably a hardware fault.
I tried to flash my newly rebuilt tricopter with a fresh FC on it, and it still doesn’t work though, so I’m probably doing something wrong. I’ll experiment with it a bit when i’m more awake

Tried to flash with latest firmware. It is not working for me. Still rebooting FC.24 December, 2018 at 20:36 #60650jihleinParticipantWell unfortunately I’m about out of ideas here. Attached is a new firmware file that alters the SPI clock speed a little bit more. It still runs fine on my board here. I need to check other targets, but the RCE F3Fc Racing, RCE F3Fc Integrated, KakuteF4V2, and Matek405Ctr all work with this change, at least on my end here.
Attached is the new firmware file for the F3Fc, and 2 screen shots from my logic analyzer, showing the SPI clock during gyro init on both versions of the F3Fc. The clock is ~571 kHz actual reading, which is pretty much centered in the range specified in the MPU6000 datasheet.
24 December, 2018 at 20:39 #60654krkljanParticipantWill try this tomorrow or aftertomorrow. Thx for all your efforts. Merry Christmass!!!
26 December, 2018 at 10:23 #60660krkljanParticipantTried last firmware. Now is not rebooting. But cannot connect.

26 December, 2018 at 10:40 #60663krkljanParticipantSuccess!!!! Managed to connect!!!!!!!! Removed from Devices manager F3FC that had error and managed to connect………..
26 December, 2018 at 14:51 #60664krkljanParticipantNews! After doing most of setting up to Davids video there is problem with motor outputs. Cannot get servo to work.
26 December, 2018 at 15:41 #60665jihleinParticipant@krkljan, hopefully it’s just a setup problem, as mine works. I’ve attached screenshots of the mixer setup and the output setup. I also attached the FC dump from my BabyTri. You could try loading that as a starting point, but be aware it’s from an F3Fc racing board, so will have to make orientations changes and other changes specific to your hardware.
Lastly – let’s move this discussion to the “dRonin for Tricopters!” as there are other users trying to get the F3Fc Integrated board up and running too.
26 December, 2018 at 16:13 #60669ME-tanParticipantRight, From Triflight 0.5, used the cleanflight configurator to flash the dRonin .hex file for f3fc from the post on 23rd December, using the dRonin GCS from the same build, used rescue button to flash the rescue file posted on 24th, I also erased the settings partition for good measure, am still getting this:
Anyone know where I’m going wrong here?
26 December, 2018 at 16:37 #60670jihleinParticipantYour not doing anything wrong from what I can see. I can’t understand why this board is so finicky wrt to the SPI clock frequency during init.
