HI, so I have finished building the mini tricopter and found this weird glitch in the motors that results in a crash almost every time.
There is two problems here that may or may not be related.
the tail servo twitches a lot. although I’ve just realized today that my beeper doesn’t work and therefore the tail setup might not of completed properly.
switching to tri_servo_feedback = virtual seems to of helped a bit for now, although still oscillating a lot (see video, towards the end)
the motors are glitching at about 37% throttle. as you can see in the video, its quite bad sometimes.
today at the park it was bad enough that i couldn’t recover from hovering at 4-5m high
I’ve checked for cold solders on the board
reset the settings to default (haven’t re-flashed firmware yet)
re calibrated the ecs’s
