Neat-o build!
I had not thought of building it up inverted like that. That looks so spacey! Kudos!
Looks like I will need to pop by the RC store and pick up a micro buzzer for myself.
Cheers!
BumblebeastParticipantThanks mate!
BumblebeastParticipantStill a multi-rotor though, all good, all good.
Happy flying Mate, may your RSSI be strong.
BumblebeastParticipantSo snappy you are! 🙂
Frankly maybe I should send my Session 5 to myself and use that as an excuse for doing the actual work. Guess I will be launching Solidworks and get it done.
Cheers,

An old man cannot read a soldering mask. My old eyes.
Sincere apologies for taking your time for such matters, Kevin Erik,
Best wishes,
DavidBumblebeastParticipantDear Kevin Erik,
Thank you for your reply. I’ve just checked the connections again (again-again-again).
I had wire’ed everything up exactly as you state. I have now desoldered the entire row of wires, just to clean up, double-double-double checked that I have not made any mistakes. Still the same.
1. Everything works fine in Betaflight using stock Betaflight firmware.
2. Absolutely no hole through to the R-XSR when I flash the dRonin firmware.Attached is a screenshot of the Betaflight settings that function correctly. Quite stock. On a note, I have tried with another R-XSR receiver, as well as updating the receiver firmware. No luck.
Any help is highly appreciated. I’ve been thorough a handful of exotic builds before, this is just so weird.
Cheers guys, have a wonderful day you all,

BumblebeastParticipantDear Kevin Erik,
Thank you very much for your prompt response. I see that you a few times mention the bicopter whereas my question pertains to the Baby Tricopter. Can I assume that your advice is relevant for both platforms?
I have had the nerves to ask Windestal about the recommended firmware platform. He has let me know that one of the major advances of dRonin is that it makes use of a servo feedback loop and that Betaflight/Triflight is not capable of this. I thought to mention it here such that other tricopter noobs in the same position as I does not need to ask again.
Cheers everyone, I’m so excited about getting started with the build.
