    @Eduardo, @Hawk, @Marty, @jj_uk, I need your help guys.

    I’m setting up a custom build of the mini tricopter on px4 and I would like your help in obtaining the stock PID gains you guys use in clean/beta/tri flight, to input as starting values for tuning my build.

    Yes it will be powered via the output rail. The pixhawk comes with a power module, so I guess I will connect the input of the BEC together with the input to the ESCs, to the output of the Power module. So the BEC and the ESCs will be powered, then the output of the BEC will go into a spare pin on the output rail to power the Pixahwk, while the output of the ESCs go to power the motors.

    Hi jihlein and thanks for your response.

    So my next question is, how are the motors powered? Does it mean the motors would also depend on the power from the external BEC?
