I had that beeping earlier trying to hook up LEDs and MinimOSD (UART) but eventually got rid of the LEDs since they didn’t work reliable (sometime they lit up but usually started to fluctuate later). They both worked separately but when both where connected I could get beeping, random errors and OSD>LED
I.e. for me it was due to some kind of communication error and didn’t appear if I removed the uart-connections.
Daniel_KarlssonParticipantNo fail-safe, its the arm/disarm switch. If you disarm you will get the save-beeps if you have a beeper
Daniel_KarlssonParticipantI also tried to connect the minimosd to UART2 and the minimosd-2nd stage to the TX BEC and failed + got the wierd beeping when connected via USB. It works ok on UART1. Had even more problems trying to power LEDs via UART at the same time as powering minimosd…
Could the two-stage approach used by minimosd be the cause? Have anyone tried to solder the bridges to remove the need for the 2nd stage?
See wiring examples here

Everything is stock w F3FC
