ParticipantActually I think it’s a sham. If you register your craft your information goes public. Name and address so if there is a incident in your area, guess who’s going to be the first person there going to look for? Sure there has been privacy issues and stupidity incidents. But having your drone and your information for the police departments to pick and chose Is a little intimidating. That allows witch hunting.
No one person can do anything about it, but the people we buy our products from can. not necessarily outside of the United States but definitely inside. it might be a good idea to have the companies in the United States help fight for right and they’re right because with the $27,000 fine to a quarter of a million dollar fine no one will buy their stuff. Just A thought.

ParticipantI may have a few ideas. It might help. If your camera and transmitter came as a kit together it might be off a channel. If it didn’t come as a kit the transmitter and camera could work at the same voltage. Ex a fatshark transmitter has a 5 bold supply for a 5 volt camera. A boscam transmitter has a through voltage for the camera. Means you supply 12v to the transmitter you supply the camera with 12v. 5v camera is toast. A 12v camera on a fatshark system never gets enough juice to fire it up.
If you know both are getting the correct voltage and everything is on the exact channel. Then your video out from the camera and the ground wire could be backwards witch could invert the signal. That usually will give you a blank raster with a line running down the side of the screen (usually white or gray)My best guess is to pull it from your setup and re-setup the for system and make sure it works before to stuff it back in to the tricopter. ParticipantI use a sma extentions on all my stuff. I don’t really see much difference on the transmitting side of things. I don’t know the actual number of signal loss I think it was .5 db per connection. If your transmitting with .25 mw, it could suffer a bit. If your transmitting with a 200-600mw it would be impossible to see a difference. On the receiving side of things is a different story. If you have a antenna with 3 db gain And you lost 1 db of gain you lost a 3rd of your reception. Say for instance you wanted to have a antenna on a 10 foot mast you lose the 1 db in connectors and 2 db in wire you lost all the gain from your antenna. That might be a little more information your looking for. But getting in the ball park with how the transmission and reception how it really works will help you out in the future.

ParticipantOkay 600×600 mm is rather large. Lol! I was wondering the difference of the efficiency between the 12v and the 24v supply. I know the steppers are driven by the chip on the board and the voltage is less. I don’t know how much the current they actually send. So the heat bed and I guess the nozzle take most of the power?
Also I was wondering if you could do a pictorial of how things go along the way? Also is it going to be like a reprap? I have mine up and running with the direct drive and it likes to shed it’s nuts and walk around the living room. I taped it to a box. I’ve thought about a Bowden extruder to reducing the vibration. What do you think?

ParticipantIf it will help I have the reprap discountdiscount full graphic smart controller. I don’t have a sensor for the auto leveling bed. I also only have one extruder with a 100k thermistor the heating bed has the same 100k thermistor. I checked them both on My dvm. I’m not sure how to add a pullup resistor in the circuit. The dimensions for the print bed is x,y 200mm and z hight is 180mm. It has 3 limit switches at the home position the reperapdiscount full graphics controller has a sd card reader. I thought I would give you that information so you can see if it will compile.
