Until you’re comfortable flying the copter and are confident, I’d almost recommend the cheap props in case of a crash, just hold back because the performance won’t be up to par.

For more aggressive flying, use the carbon props, they’ll hold up better.

Good solution to the wiring mess(thumbs up)

For carrying a gimbal and a 5000mAh, I can’t say. You could use some thrust calculators and find the weight of that setup and compare it to the stock setup for performance. Overall, it will be a lot more sluggish because of the increased mass. Don’t put all that weight on with cheap props! Good Luck!

No need to apologize. I will say, after tackling the wiring mess myself, I think it’s a good idea to add another plate to give yourself more room, however how you’ll deal with the wires is on you.

As for the Propeller and KV question, it very simple. The faster a propeller spins, the more air it encounters in a short amount of time, giving it more drag and lowering the efficiency. If you have a bigger propeller moving slower, it moves the same amount of air, but has less drag because it’s moving/rotating slower. It’s all for efficiency, which can actually add up enabling larger payloads, longer flight times, etc.

If you’re aiming for a smooth tri, you’ll notice all control things such as smoothness/aerobaticness, in your flight controller board and radio. I recommend expos if you want it to fly smooth, but still be able to recover in a pinch. If you want, lower the stick scaling and it’ll fly smoother that way too. Watch the KK2 setup video, it addresses the control system more in depth.

Thanks for the idea! I used JB weld yesterday, and it holds up great!
