The servo was the problem 😛 saw it all the times I tested but didn’t think about it, but dang it was easy to “remap” the motors. Will be a interesting day with attuning tomorrow.

    Setup

    Amaxinno 2306/2500kv dimitid edit
    Airbot 40amp esc

    Akk ultimat fx2 v2
    FrSky R9mini+

Im sure ill come back for more help, Dronin is something new so feels like im back at the start of this..

ill reinstall dronin during the evening and get pics up. ya that could be the issue. or when you sa it it have to be, the servo is moving the same way as yaw stick when armed on dronin but it should move the other way right? controls left, servo right. only thing didn’t think of

Hello all, long time since I was here or even was in the air.

Got Davids new Babytri setup to find the fun in flying again after some issues at home, flawless build and install on bf .7beta3 all is working as it should.

have installed the dronin software as in davids vid bud all I get whatever I do is a spin of death when arming and try to take of.

Flew 3 packs today on bf so what the hell have I missed out on?

    motors.

    m1: tail
    m2:right
    m3:left
servo on led (m4 in dronin)

Do you use expo in bf? If you don’t use that put 0.25/28 on pitch/roll and 20ish on yaw
that change made my flight a good amount smother

Another flight, set all notch to off even if recommended for f3 is not. But so far so good. On stock f3 for the minitri I cant find much faults. In this vid I even run stock settings for servo so not changed the pwm fed to 250 here. All in all, seems that all is working as it should, tune is up to the pilot and setup 🙂

After an “extreme” crash last weekend my minitriXL is in the air again.
The Hobbywing ferrit 5-6v core on the servo makes a lot of difference for the servo 🙂
Got a bit of tuning left now to get rid of the last nose/gitter.
For those amino 1800mha 4s acc I run now the new props came today.
Hq 7035x3V1s, first LOS flight felt perfect so looking forward to the tuning session during eastern

Tuning needed, some wag from the tail. But damn I like my setup. 7min flight in -5c gave 14.92v an 13% on the acc.

So far I cant find much wrong in BF3.2, everything is working as it should. running 4k,4k and PT1 at the moment. bumped the d_yaw to 30 (stock20) thats almost all right now

Know. but have never had any issues with it before and when it was on fast load in my menu I didn’t think about that it has been discontinued. know all this but when all has worked up to the last days it wasn’t the first thing I had in mind

    @Kevin_Erik

Found the problem, its the chrome app Bf thats wrong on Mac. On my MacMini I had the app/web based BetaFlight. If I flash with that all will boot but nothing will work.
Powered up my MacBook Pro now and reinstalled all firmware, the new Betaflight stand alone software and the flashed my BabyTri that got the first Hw F4sd in it. Set all up in Bf and went out.
Running beta .7 on that but it flew directly as it should so the problem was the web based app of Betaflight.

So that new F3 card I bought of David probably is not needed for my MiniXL now 😛 but nice to have spare parts.

My problem could be the same on Pc just for notes. Most people are running the new stand alone but just something to keep in mind

the babu tri was tested inside before and after flash so its either my Mac or something that has happened with BF. why I need to control this with an pc. I don’t have the same problem with a quad flashed directly from Bf online so thats a bit why im wondering about this

Just for testing I refashed my baby now, put in all the same settings as before. Well it went down in the snow. Cant fly it at all???? Bug in Betaflight after their last updates on the Bf promt? Ill get a friend with pc to flash during the weekend so I might could confirm this but at the moment im down with both tries. Have never had any issues with Mac and Bf before but guess it started after chrome stoped the app system for it. Ill get back with info if I find some truth and solution for this

    @Kevin_Erik @Lauka

Hm, I saw something during the day/week, Ive had some issues with 2 F4 boards that won’t work and at the same time a 3 board (same as one of the 2 others) that works as it should, or up to today it did.
The problem I saw was that people that has flashed with an Mac has problems with the setup, after flashing with an Pc all is good. Is it something to this or just pure unlucky flashes?

For me, got the Hw F4sd working on my baby, when I put the same software on the next Hw F4sd for my mini it won’t work. Cant arm motors, servo won’t work. This is not on 3.2 so wrong place to post but if the problem is in .7 it could be the same on 3.2

I give up, first the stock fc (found the fault, an internal connection that has broke due to age and crashes before I started the build this time)
Hw f4sd, works on my baby but won’t work on mini, same goes for the Bff4, cant find the problem/bug in the system at all 🙁
Last test I soldered the stock f3 board up again, all works perfect up to the point of mounting all together, so nothing wrong with motors, esc, cables, its something with my boards.

just want all to work so bought a new f3 from David, at the moment I couldn’t care less about the things ill miss from the f4. Just want the MiniXl in the air at the moment.

Sadly, if an new stock board with all new parts fail im out… Built 30-40 (quads and 5 tri) units the last 2 years and never had this problems before so..

Lets see if our chat and thoughts around the ferrit “filter” is something that will make an difference. +- is 5 loops around on the intake to the servo. Not pretty but if it works there always possible to make an nice 3d print for it after
