@Fosch when you swap between the XSR and R-XSR are you swapping the pins around in the connector? XSR & R-XSR have different pinouts on their connector even though its the same plug, I’ve pulled my hair out a few times on the same issue

    Hi All,

I have flashed the new control 8 onto my baby trip and my V3.5 integrated naze

Only had chance to of hover tests on both, with the baby if i do a little punch out and chop the throttle the tri does a 90 deg left yaw, tail tune was completed not sure where to start

for the v3.5 just a bit of advice check your board alignment in the configurator and check that when you tilt the copter the animation does the same

On the v3.5 I am having some trouble with the bench tail tune, I have finally installed a feedback servo but when doing the bench tune the servo goes to the left back to centre then I get a long beep, might be my fault as I do not have the template and have set the end points by comparing to the baby tri and trying to line up the baby tri tilt tool

at the moment it hovers but has a lot of pitch/roll oscillation

    Thanks

Hi, Not sure if this has been asked or not, but the PID loop for yaw control does it just correct the tail motor speed only? or is there correction on the servo too?(a combination of both) to my thinking the motor and the servo react at quite different speeds and ranges with different mass, is it possible we need a separate PID adjustment/loop for the servo and motor?

Hi Just wondering what ESC protocols does the F3FC support? I have installed in a quad running beta flight and with the Aikon v2’s

does Dshot, multishot work? and with oneshot which speed?

    Thanks

    Wow thats awesome Lauka,

Nice work Lauka, can’t wait to try this out, will this improve the lower speed performance? I find my baby tri oscillates at low speed or cruising especially if there is any wind, when flying from 3/4 to full throttle it is much smoother, I’ll try uploading the last flight I have,

No snow here in Australia, happy to test and new firmware. I have a blackbox installed on my Baby Tri if that helps,

Question for everyone is a Patreon worthwhile to support the great work that Lauka has done?

Twin gattling style rockets turrets like wynsquads design would be awesome, reminds me of Command and Conquer Generals

for the good guy tank how about a triple turret guns from a WWII battleship with servos to move the guns up and down individually

    @neoxio
did you get an answer on this, I was just checking mine over getting ready for some FPV flights and powered on with props off to check the FPV channel setting, I touched the can of the USB port and notice it was hot

also curious to know if this is normal, mine has had many flights so I’m guessing it gets cooled by the airflow over it in flight

Hi I noticed there is a new release of cleanflight (v1.14.2-RC3) No idea if it has resolved the issues we are having, still I would like to see Triflight running on Beteflight

Hi you might be getting interference from the tail servo (I had similar issues)
I believe the TBS Unify Pro V2 requires a filtered 5v supply going by the TBS site (I don’t have one to confirm)

    Hope this helps

Quanum Trifecta, this was back on Australia Day 2016
It was using the triflight software and name 32 but running an analog servo (the recommended servo for this frame on hobbyking) still in flyable condition but gathering dust since I got a Baby Tri

There is more to the Taranis than just the robust radio link, its the telemetry that gives you the RSSI feedback from the receiver, having a warning before you lose the link is the reason I switched from using the Orange receivers, I only use these on my smaller aircraft now

I have a Trifecta with the same servo, try setting the servo PWM in the CLI to 50
