not able to get any mid air tail tunes right now.. I get no beeps or anything
I only get the crazy tailwag when is on the groud.. like the good old days when I used to fly the baby tricopter on triflight 0.5
but soon as it’s in hover it stops but still seem to be twitching but does not yaw which I was guessing that was okay.
I been dropping and up the p and d all afternoon.. I can never tell if its helped or not.. lol
going to the field on Sunday so can do some FPV with it then and change some of the values again.
I did take some black box stuff and the only one which ha a lot of movement on was the yaw P and D
still using my custom made tricopter 210 with 6ich props everything els is standard tricopter stuff from David store
I just gave it ago in the garden and I have tail wag .. but it does keep pointing the same way.. which is a plus!!
the only time it does a random yaw is if you pulse the throttle which I understand seen the servo is slow and I guess it can’t keep up.. does this mean I can use my super fast servo again? lol
what are the main parameter I need to tune on the tricopter??
Do I get the feeling it’s just more than just simply doing PIDs ?
if you look in the shop there are pictures of the layout of the F3FC to help you along
if your in the UK I’m selling my baby tricopter Frame for £20
load betaflight and go to the cli
set tri_motor_acc_yaw_correction =0
it should then reboot your FC
this should fix your punch out issues
okay a bit of a user error from me.. but I didn’t type save in the CLI so I totally failed at setting the Yaw correction to 0
this time I have done and its stop yawing and going crazy and looks a lot cleaner now in the log
I didn’t get video this time of my blackbox cause I had a cam issue
this is just a hover in again the motors are warm after a flight but not super hot IE burn you
I guess I do need more filtering to stop the motors getting Warm
I know your about to release the new version but I’m not sure if my issues would be resolved by it or not
I have designed my own tricopter 210 size frame running 6 inch props and I am using a TPU body for the main shell.
I’m using the babyPDB and F3FC controller I have been reading over the thread and I have set the Yaw correction to 0 but my copter is all over the place, I just can’t get a nice hover, I’m not sure if it’s because of my soft mounting having a bad effect on the fc or something els
I installed an Openlog on my tricopter and have been watching sites on blackbox stuff.. but finding it hard to understand it.
if you start the video +6.101 it should match the log and it’s dvi video so you will see it arm and disarm when I crash 😛

do you need the telemetry if you’re using the OSD?? or use the betaflightf3 which I know one of the other guys beta testing triflight 0.7 has worked out the servo port and setup for it20 March, 2017 at 13:07 in reply to: Possibility to show your appreciation for Triflight development #36939

After getting this servo thinking… wow it miles faster than the stock one I have on my other… I didn’t really find it better at flying.. and much harder to tune. I get the feeling faster not does = better with triflight?

I got myself an Anet 8 from Gearbest it’s a DIY build which took me about 8 hours to build it

Yup it does.. if you look at my pics you see it in there, and the miniosd works fine.
you need to fit it side ways though but just means the button to switch chan on on the side and easy to get too
