Hey Im liking this project. You know your gonna get some nay sayer, just keep going. I wonder how it would do with the emax 2600kv motors (since its pushing 5 inch props it should be possible ). If you ever get that Terje made 3d printed racing canopy then this would look like a serious vicious predator.

Also looks very much like Davids tricopter gold pendent.

    SWISSFREAK.

I noticed you had your baby tricopter initially set up with a colibri powercube. If you still have acces to the cli “resource list” could you tell me which pin the servo is assigned to? The colibri has a dedicated servo output pin on the side of the bourd but I cant figure out the pin’s address for betaflight cli resource list (ie “resource servo 1 ????”) I have tried A03 , B15, A08 and a number of others but nada.

If you could locate this area is it possible for you to post a photo for the rest of us? I would rather do my own soldering rather than wait for the slow bus back and forth to Sweden.

Any updates on this? Latest/ best pids and software for the Naze32 tricopter boards? Where do we go for new information? After the release and change over to the f3 boards we naze32 board owners have gotten lost in the shuffle.

How is the tricopter behaving? Is it not holding vertical or horizontal position. Drifting sideways or backwards could be due to lack of gps. Floating up or down is more of a barometer issue.

Yea, I snapped mine as well. Ordered 6 more.

one question, whats the fastest way to replace the boom/arm setup? Is there a shorter way other than disassembling the entire tri (12 screws) unsoldering the 4 wires than soldering them up again? It just seems like such a long task for what may be a common issue. Kinda hard to solder in the field.

Like with the naze32, can you recalibrate the esc’s via the f3 board?

Am I correct in assuming that the rec_hex file is already installed on the new tricopter f3 board?

Just trying to save some steps.
