Participant@kevin_Erik What do you mean by “open process” to update the F3FC? To have more people developing the code?
@david What do you think of my idea? Would you consider doing something like that?

ParticipantHere you go 🙂
The-One-Who-Never-Crashes
ParticipantThat is so weird. I don’t recall there being any mention of a length change…

ParticipantHi Anthony,
My first thought is that you don’t have your R/C antennas mounted optimally (“Optima”-lly? :)). Make sure that the receiver antenna(s) are mounted vertically (see the Tricopter v3 build video) and that your transmitter antenna is pointed straight up (like in this photo).
If that doesn’t help, you can do this mod and have the ability to run higher-gain transmitter antennas. However, this mod takes a fair amount of soldering skills, will void your warranty, and if done improperly can ruin your radio. I would highly suggest doing everything you can to increase range before doing it.
What receiver are you running?

ParticipantTry re-centering the servo and re-soldering its wires. Also check if you’ve damaged the FC.

Participant@fpvlog Change it as much as necessary 🙂
No, seriously, just go out and increase the value in increments of five until it gets better.

ParticipantDid you set the pitch value to 180 degrees in the board alignment section of the setup tab in CleanFlight? My guess is that if you didn’t, it’s probably the culprit behind the issue. Hope this helps! Good luck. 🙂

Participant@kgf Most certainly! Patreon is actually used quite often now to support modelers who produce content, and some YouTube channels like RCModelReviews, UAVFutures and Joshua Bardwell are using it to help fund projects. I think setting up something like that for Lauka would be wonderful!
The-One-Who-Never-Crashes
ParticipantExactly. We should all be grateful for such an awesome firmware! 🙂
