Free design files!

Happy holidays everyone! In the spirit of giving we are now releasing all the design files for the RCExplorer products!

You are free to make, redesign, modify, remix the design for non-commercial purposes as long as you agree to share those designs with others under the same conditions (CC4.0).

The newer designs are in Fusion360 format as well as the more universal .STEP format, which should work in most 3D software. Happy building!

  1. Thank you thank you thank you thank you!!
Years ago I built my first tricopter based on your design (I used hand sawed acrylic). I’ve followed your channel and Flitetest since (To this day your electric afterburner video is ABSOLUTELY epic! 😀 ). I always hoped to meet you one day at a flite-fest but being a single full-time parent means money and time constraints. I was sad to see you closing out your store, and today, I decided to message you and ask if you planned to release any of the models. WOW my luck!
Thanks for your hard work, dedication, and the role you play as an inspiration to others. Clear horizons, good sir.
    Wishing you the best,
    -Thomas

  2. Ah cripes, I wish I had known. if anyone wants to part with a servo and tilt mechanism I’m going to be parting out the bicopter for 3d printing. I bought all the tricopter parts before the store closed, but the CF parts for the bicopter were already sold out, so I neglected to get an extra servo and tilt mechanism set up :/

  4. Thanks for posting all these great designs, just have one query, are the mounting instructions for the F3FC-Racing correct I open it and it shows the pcb and pads but no numbers like the instructions for the baby pdb and F3FC-Tricopter-Frame.

  5. OMG I am crying right now! I only ever had the Mini Tricopter, someone sold me the Tricopter V3/V4, and was planning to get the Baby Tricopter but parts were out of stock by the time I got to it. I was able to find some Baby Tricopters left on Amazon, but now there is hope yet for the Bicopter and Tricopter LR to complete the fleet! You are an amazing fellow, David! 😀 <3 <3 <3
