Me and the wife was out taking some more photos of the FunJet in the air. The Funjet flies excellent in the wind and everything seemed to go well until…
We were standing about 200 meters out, on a field, and I was making low passes into the wind. I went around several times diving down at the end of the field and making the low passes up the field. It wen’t fine until I dived down a little to far away. The Funjet smacked into a branch sticking out from a tree at about 90 km/h.
The nose got broken into three pieces. The entire fuselage top cracked. The left wing got bent like a V. The bottom fuselage cracked in three places.
I don’t thing she will ever fly as good as she once did…
