In this video I show a bit more how to connect things on the F3FC Tricopter board. A complete build video for the Tricopter v4 is coming soon, in which more of the F3FC build is going to be shown. Sit tight, the video should be up next week.

Yes! Soldering iron, here I come. 😀
David,
Do the pin headers come with the mini tricopter kit? It’s not listed in the list of what’s included. However, there is a note in the description of the pin headers that mentions that one is included with every FC board.
Greetings from CYUL,
Have the kit, can confirm the pins come with the board.
They aren’t listed on the kit because if you order the kit without the F3FC board you don’t get pinheaders. They are always included in the F3FC board where ever you buy it 🙂
excellent video!!! answers all my questions and helps me implement the F3FC midframe better. I was kinda wondering what that little 3 pin extra was for. Thanks for the video David!
I’ve ordered a digital soldering iron especially for this board HOORAY!!!!.
You could use an analogue one, that’s no problem 😀
Really really really need the video 🙂
Should I use the feedback servo with 6 or 8V ? I don’t want to fry it 😀
6V
Hi David! loving the new tricopter it look so cool! Does the F3FC have a stabilised mode or is it just acro? Is horizon mode the stable mode?
Angle and Horizon are stabilised flight modes. The F3FC does have these yes 🙂
Guess what arrived Monday… my V4 frame! I think it looks better in my hands. First multirotor build ihas begun.
Is iNav firmware compatible with this board?
Not at the moment, but maybe later on.
Hi Dave
The f3 board supports GPS, but does triflight?
Andrew
Yes, but functionality is very limited at this point. Triflight is a fork from cleanflight and has the same GPS functionality.
I had to sand down the top of the back frame holder since the 3-pin stopper (solders) is in the way. Just one mm in the middle but could be an future improvement (if i didnt do it wrong 😛 )
